Roofing & Construction in Mentone, IN
Metal and shingle roofs, seamless gutters, garages, and pole barns for Mentone and the farm ground around it. Built for Northern Indiana weather.
Built for Mentone weather
Mentone is a farm town, and a lot of the houses here are farmhouses that have been added onto over the years: a wing off the side, a dormer, a sunroom on the back. Every addition puts another valley or another wall flashing on the roof, and those are the places a roof leaks first. On one Mentone farmhouse we roofed in CertainTeed Landmark, the dormer, the stone chimney, and a side gable turned the roof into a set of short runs meeting in valleys, so the valleys and the chimney flashing got as much care as the open slopes.
Open farm ground also means storms hit hard. A spring hailstorm left another farmhouse here, in the middle of a working farm, needing a full replacement, and it went back on in Owens Corning Evergreen Mist. When a storm has been through, we inspect the roof and work with your insurance company from the claim through to the install. And with barns and pole buildings out back, we can price the outbuildings on the same estimate as the house, since we build and roof those too.
Gutters were part of two of our Mentone jobs. One home got 6 inch seamless gutters with oversized 3x4 downspouts and RX No-Clog leaf guard. Another got an Owens Corning Duration roof in Onyx Black, with new 5 inch gutters and leaf guard put on at the same time. Out toward Burket, Akron, Silver Lake, and Claypool it is the same mix of farmhouses, barns, and in-town homes. Estimates on new roofs, gutters, and buildings are free, and financing is available.
